Do you have a hot tub?
Yes, we have a great outdoor hot tub that is shared.

Not at this time. There are a number of places on the island with WiFi : The Hardware Store Restaurant, Cafe Luna (internet cafe) and the library. You can plug in for free at the first 2 and also rent time on Cafe Luna's computers.
Is there a bridge to the island?
Nope, only way on and off is by a beautiful ferry ride. The ticket you purchase is round trip - it costs nothing to leave the island

I could go on and on.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please see policies (link on the left). If you have work or health concerns it may be best to book close enough to the date or perhaps consider vacation insurance.
Can I bring my car?
Absolutely, the automobile ferrys take everything from walk-on passengers to 18 wheelers.
Do I need ferry reservations?
Nope, first come - first serve. The ferrys on the North end take hundreds of cars at a time, the South end rarely overloads.
Will there be on site parking for my car?
Yes, we have sufficient parking for 1 car per room and on street parking for extra vehicles.
Do we need a car?
We are located 4 1/2 miles from the island's North end ferry dock and a little more than twice as far from the South end dock at Tahlequah (coming from Pt. Defiance in Tacoma)
We would recommend coming by car, we do, however, fairly often have guests arrive on foot/bus, by bicycle and/or shuttle. (Vashon Shuttle will take you door to door to and from the airport and I think downtown Seattle as well)
Please see their contact info and webpage below for pricing and advance reservation questions
We are located 3/4 mile from the nearest bus stop on Vashon's main road (which is generously called Vashon Hiway).
We are (1) one mile exactly from the very center Vashon Village, it is an easy walk for those accustomed to getting places on foot or by bicycle. Keep in mind we are on a country lane with no sidewalks or street lights and coming back from dinner in the late evening in the dark or during times of inclement weather is not much fun.
Is there taxi service on the island?
No. There is a shuttle service. Please contact Vashon Shuttle at
